overall, generally flat surfaces, or even slightly curved, holds pretty well, and there is plenty of adjust-ability for orientation of the camera. the only problem I've seen when comparing it to my single RAM suction cup, was that the areas that have significant curvature as my bike does not work well because the two suction cups don't have that degree of freedom to move around a lot to a horizontal position (that would be a design change quite easy and a nice feature).
